The museum evolved from a private collection that varies from between 20,000 and 30,000, although I don't count them anymore!
The collection started in 1974 and has grown to what it has become
today when visitors marvel at the different types, and just all round colourful gallery of the shapes and sizes they are faced with when viewing. At any time there are over 1600 on display along with all the different types mentioned.
The museum is located a quarter of a mile behind Shipstones brewery in New Basford.
Visitors limited to pump clip collectors or brewery historians, and then only up to three persons due to size, so please email as visits are by appointment only.
Collections are always being purchased and spare clips are available from 25p upwards. Email basford.pcmuseum-at-btinternet.com.
